Don't miss out on signature cuisine with a fine fusion of Asian and European flavours at the classic-styled SCMC clubhouse – a meeting place to fully immerse in the classicality of the biker spirit.

The bistro with a distinct classic European vibe

Inspired by European bistros for biker communities (bike stops), SCMC clubhouse welcomes anyone looking for a new, exciting dining experience.

Nestles in an antique French villa, SCMC clubhouse wears an elegant look with neutral-warm tones. Diners are greeted from the very first steps by motorcycles randomly arranged at the entrance, alternating with the cool green colour of large leafy trees. A space filled with sunshine and warm breezes would best describe SCMC clubhouse unique outdoor seating area. Stepping through the black wooden door, the elegantly and luxuriously designed indoor space is accentuated with a subtle scent of wood, mixed with the appealing aroma from sizzling dishes ready to be served, which grabs your attention almost immediately.

A unique and full-of-excitement Asian-European cuisine "roadtrip"

Conceptually, SCMC places the restaurant beyond merely being part of its brand ecosystem. SCMC clubhouse’s defined style can be regarded as quite liberal, thus does not particularly abide by any cooking school, be it European or Asian. The menu leans towards an ultimate goal of serving their diners real comfort – an absolute relax in dining.

With many years of experience in European-styled restaurants serving fine dining and local steakhouses, and 4 years as the head chef at a Spanish restaurant, SCMC clubhouse’s head chef has made great efforts to diversify their in-house homemade menu. “For me, food is something that connects people through stories. And the stories surrounding bikers' culture are never less interesting.” Mr. Le Van Trieu, Head Chef of SCMC clubhouse, shared.

SCMC clubhouse menu consists of 68 diverse and easy-to-select dishes, created as grouped contemporary comfort food. They are serving all-day dining to welcome everyone from morning, noon till late evening.

A few small and nuanced adjustments have brought a unique sense of novelty to the dishes here. A good example is “Gambas al ajillo” – the signature Spanish dish consisting of stir-fried giant tiger prawn with lime and garlic sauce – that has been “Vietnamised” by in-house recipe changes with local ingredients ensuring absolute freshness. Small shifts in cooking techniques results in the desirable local taste that promises some wows.

“Tagliatelle” – rich creamy curry pasta – surely is a good go-to for many returning diners, including the chef himself, because of its excellent ingredient quality, and the pleasurable taste that no one could easily forget.

Next in line, the SCMC clubhouse’s steak game is serious. Only 150+ days grain-fed beef has its chance to be on their in-house charcoal set, guarantees the best bites that you deserve: smoky flavour and the crunchy caramelization as a result from years of mastering the craft.

Last but definitely not least, you should give Vietnamese "Com Tam", also known as the best-selling and a signature item in the SCMC clubhouse menu, a good try. This is a more sophisticated version of the traditional broken rice with premium Iberico pork - the top-notch global-quality pork imported directly from Spain.

It’s also good to know that all the pastas, breads and slow-cooked dishes are prepared on the restaurant's own charcoal grill set, and their in-house range of sauces and desserts are home made by the kitchen.

The original SCMC brand (Saigon Classic Motorcycles Club) was established in 2016 by its founder Thomas Doan, from a small motorcycle workshop right under his apartment. With the burning passion for classic motorbikes and the desire to build a community that shares the passion for speed, Doan and his companions transformed the original concept into reality. Up to now, SCMC has massively expanded and acquired its own ecosystem of brands including SCMC Denim, SCMC Gear, etc. Mr. Thomas Doan and friends still frequently organise long-distance bike rides, get to make even more friends with the same passion, shared knowledge and culture, as well as organise regular charity trips to disadvantaged rural areas.

Referring to the SCMC ecosystem, Mr. Thomas Doan shares: “For me, SCMC is the enthusiasm of life and a passion since my younger days. At that time, Vietnam did not have any large-motorbike manufacturers in the local market. It was really a challenge for those who wanted to find a place or companions to share their passion for classic motorcycles. "

Ms. Nhu Thao, one of the accompanied partners of Mr. Thomas Doan since the early days of SCMC ecosystem development, shares:

“SCMC clubhouse was born with the hope that this meeting point will be a cool spot for both members and the newcomers of the SCMC ecosystem with beautiful bikes, delicious food - a perfect place for bonding those with similar interests, planning upcoming gentlemen rides, or simply meeting after each other's long day at work..”

SCMC clubhouse restaurant was born with the desire to be a gathering place for bikers and inspire those who are interested in motor. Their non-categorised targeted audience ranges from professional foodies to someone who’s about to experience the bistro style for their first time. Thus, it’s quite easy to claim that the fascinating SCMC clubhouse’s homemade menu will not challenge you in choosing a satisfying dish for spiritual taste.

With the aim for a bistro-vibe restaurant, SCMC clubhouse is the ideal venue for those looking for a pleasant and memorable dining experience: a place for interesting stories to be told, and the time to fully immerse in the classicality of bikers’ spirit.
