LOEWE Officially Launches the Full Ballet Runner 2.0 Collection
Debuting in 2019, the Ballet Runner quickly garnered acclaim from fashion enthusiasts. Now, with the release of version 2.0, LOEWE reintroduces this distinctive silhouette with enhanced details and craftsmanship.
A Fusion of Retro Inspiration and Contemporary Craft
The Ballet Runner 2.0 retains LOEWE’s signature asymmetrical toe, blended with the vintage appeal of 1970s running shoes. This reimagined design is launched alongside the Flow Runner, presenting a fresh perspective on sport-luxe footwear. Key updates include a redesigned “L” logo on the upper, an embossed logo on the tongue, and a wavy rubber outsole extending to the toe, lending a dynamic, modern touch.
Beyond aesthetics, comfort and versatility are elevated through Sacchetto construction, where the lining is meticulously stitched into the insole to create a soft, sock-like feel. The Ballet Runner 2.0 is lightweight and features a supple leather lining, cushioned footbed, and a rubberized logo delicately embossed on the calfskin heel—available in both monochrome and contrasting colorways. Each pair comes with two sets of laces for added styling flexibility.
Exclusive Colorways and the Official Launch
In December, LOEWE debuted select colorways crafted from nylon and calfskin, including black/white, white/black, brown/yellow/blue, lilac/white/gray, and white/red/blue, exclusively on loewe.com. Since then, additional releases have introduced soft calfskin variations in black, white, and cinnamon brown, further expanding the collection’s palette.
The official LOEWE Ballet Runner 2.0 launch campaign kicked off on February 3, marking a new chapter for the house’s innovative approach to luxury sneakers.
