Created by Chloé Lemelle, Nathan, and Hélio Guenoun-Tassara, Cabanon Palace reimagines French dining in Asia with a unique concept of a “Corso-Marseillais” establishment. Coming from a French fishing family with over eight generations of history and living in Vietnam since 2010, they wanted to create a cabanon - a simple, authentic gathering place, capturing the spirit of French living.

The restaurant celebrates the cuisine of Provence and Corsica in its most authentic form: Meals meant to be shared with family on a Sunday, full of generosity and conviviality, with the vibrant flavors of the French Riviera.

The name “Cabanon Palace” itself is a deliberate play on paradoxes - combining the rustic simplicity of a traditional fisherman’s house with the elegance and sophistication of a palace. This contrast shapes the restaurant’s unique identity: Warm, understated, and refined.

Cabanon Palace’s culinary ambition is to preserve traditional Provençal family recipes passed down from their great-grandmothers, who were guardians of this precious culinary heritage. Some of these recipes, nearly forgotten, are faithfully brought back to life. Dishes are served in large portions to share and often carved tableside, reviving a classic French service tradition. Whether it’s a whole lobster à l’armoricaine, fish served in bouillabaisse, or a large cut of beef, every dish brings the warmth and atmosphere of a family meal.

The wine list features an outstanding selection from the Southeast of France - Côtes du Rhône, Provence, and Corsica - carefully chosen to complement the honest, generous cuisine. To complete the experience, guests can enjoy retro-style aperitifs that recreate the casual vibe of a lively southern French village square.

The decor subtly blends the bold modernism of the 1960s with the timeless charm of classic French bourgeois style, creating a cozy, elegant, and welcoming setting where every detail is thoughtfully designed.
