Girard-Perregaux DNA in the boutique
The choice of organic material such as wood and stones, the interplay of lights and shades, as well as visible or hidden shapes take inspiration in the origin city of La Chaux-De-Fonds.
Indeed, the mountain city is recognized at the UNESCO world heritage as back in the 18th century, the city was destroyed by a fire and rebuilt for watchmaking. The streets were rebuilt parallel, proportions finely calculated and orientated in a way that each workshop could benefit from sunlight all day long no matter the period of the year.
The Boutique showcase multiple nods to this unique architecture from the entrance with a large mirror display reflecting lights to the more intimate seated area decorated by a grand blade wall representing the streets of La Chaux-De-Fonds.
